American Airlines AAdvantage eShopping Mall Valentine’s Day Offer

American Airlines has a new Valentine’s Day bonus that can earn you an extra 500 miles on top of the regular miles that you would earn from shopping through their portal. Let’s take a look.

The Offer

During the “Valentine’s Day” bonus offer which runs from 1/29/18 through 2/11/18 at 11:59:59 pm ET, members will earn a one-time bonus of 500 AAdvantage® miles on $200 or more in qualifying purchases, in addition to the standard AAdvantage® miles earned from shopping online through the AAdvantage eShoppingSM mall.

  • Bonus campaign runs from 1/29/18 through 2/11/18 at 11:59:59 pm ET
  • Member will earn a one-time bonus of up to 500 AAdvantage® miles on qualifying purchases
  • Qualifying purchases do not include returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card or other cash equivalent purchases, and certain products that are not eligible for bonus miles.
  • Please allow 8-10 weeks after the Bonus Period for bonus award miles to post to your AAdvantage® account.

Earning Structure

  • Earn 500 miles for qualifying purchases of at least $200 or more.

Conclusion

This bonus adds 2.5X AA miles in addition to the normal payout you will receive from the portal. It’s a good idea to still use a comparison site like Cashback Monitor to make sure you are getting the best return. But, usually these bonus will give you great rates.
