Shawn Coomer
Founder & Editor-In-ChiefShawn Coomer has spent the past decade carefully studying bank & travel loyalty programs and credit card offerings. He earns and redeems over a million miles/points per year across multiple airline, hotel, bank and other loyalty programs. He is currently on a multi-year semi-nomadic adventure with his wife Jasmine and seven year old daughter Ellie that is largely paid for with miles & points. Shawn talks about his travels frequently on the Miles to Memories Podcast and as @milestomemories on social media channels.
During his travels Shawn has visited over 70 countries, most of them with his family. His travel obsession began in 2007 when he and Jasmine sold everything that didn't fit in a 5' x 10' storage unit & set out on an 18 month adventure with their then 7 year old son Shawn Reece. They visited over 20 countries along the way and the daily adventures became the Family RTW blog which was the predecessor to Miles to Memories. Shawn & Jasmine had so much fun on that trip that they are doing it all again 15 years later with their daughter Ellie.
A Vegas native, Shawn Coomer is also known as an expert in the culture and history of Las Vegas. He cohosts a weekly Vegas lifestyle video show & podcast on our MtM Vegas YouTube channel where over 35,000 subscribers tune in. As part of his travels, Shawn stays in luxury hotels and roadside motels, flies in premium cabins and on low cost carriers and carries elite status with more than a dozen loyalty programs. More than anything he just wants to help people achieve their travel dreams like he has.
