Does It Really Look Like A Chicken?
The scenery around Krabi is world famous for good reason. Our snorkeling tour took us to four picturesque locations where we snorkeled and enjoyed the stunning scenery.
Experiencing True Thai Generosity!
We experienced true Thai generosity when a local family shared their transportation off of the island, drove us back to town and bought us some small parting gifts on our way to Krabi.
A Lazy Island Day & Frogs Too!
On Monday Shawn Reece made a Thai friend, a family of frogs invaded my shoes, and we spent our final full day in Koh Sukhorn lounging around taking it easy. It was the perfect day of rest before resuming life on the road.
Back To The Island Life!
Koh Sukhorn was not the prettiest island in Thailand, but it was still very beautiful and the local friendliness put it over the top! The entire island felt safe and we were welcomed by the locals. What a great experience!
Trouble At The Thai Border
Crossing a border can always be stressful, but when you are in a remote area and someone is trying to rip you off, it becomes even crazier. We did eventually deal with it and slowly settled into southern Thailand over the next couple of days.
Spending A Few Extra Days In Penang
While spending a few more days in Penang, we visited the historic Penang Hill Railway, ate some more great food and stayed at a beach resort on the north end of the island!
Trishaw Tours & Indian Food!
We spent most of our first two days in Georgetown, Penang exploring the city. The highlights of our time there were the fantastic food and our trishaw tour of the city!
Trading One Highland For Another!
Leaving the Genting Highlands behind, we traveled further north to the Cameron Highlands. This area is home to some of the most lush and beautiful scenery we have ever seen!
