Join Waitlist for Air Canada Cards, Get Bonus Points and eUpgrade Credits

Air Canada launched its new Aeroplan loyalty program last year. Then Air Canada announced a strategic partnership that will make Chase the exclusive issuer of the airline’s Aeroplan U.S. credit card. Aeroplan was also added as a transfer partner in Chase’s Ultimate Rewards program.

You can already transfer Ultimate Rewards points to Aeroplan miles, but the Air Canada credit cards are not available yet. Instead, there’s a waitlist where you can register if you are interested.

Plus, as an exclusive waitlist bonus, those who register will be eligible to earn 10,000 Aeroplan points in addition to the launch offer, upon card approval. That part of the additional bonus was already known, but Air Canada has now sweetened the deal. Besides the extra points, participants who are approved for the card will also receive 10 eUpgrade credits that can be used for upgrades to premium cabins on flights operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Express and Air Canada Rouge.

The Waitlist Offer is only valid for participants who sign up for the waitlist program prior to November 8, 2021. To qualify for the bonus, you must apply for the Chase Aeroplan Card by no later than February 15, 2022. You will receive an application link by email through the waitlist.

Clearly Chase must approve you first, and then you will receive the bonus. It will take up to eight weeks from the date the application is approved for the Waitlist Points Bonus to be awarded. eUpgrade credits will appear in your Aeroplan account within 16 weeks. These credits are valid for one year from the date of issuance.
