NYC to Colombia Round-Trip, $418 for Lie-Flat Seats with Delta
Delta Air Lines is running a great sale for travel to Bogota, Colombia from NYC. This sale is specifically for flights from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to El Dorado Luis Carlos Galan Sarmiento International Airport (BOG). For $418 or 24,000 SkyMiles, you can book a non-stop, round trip, lie-flat business class seat. Let’s see the details.
How to Book
To find these fares, you can start your search on Google Flights. Select New York and Bogota as your departure and destination and make sure you have selected round-trips and Business Class.
In October and November you should be able to see some dates prices at just $418 as shown below.
You can also search for award fares on Delta’s website. These same flights are priced at 24,000 SkyMiles round-trip. Just keep in mind that you need to pay taxes too, but you should still get decent value for your miles.
Traveling to Colombia
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Level 4 Travel Health Notice for Colombia due to COVID-19. The State Department has also issued a Level 3 Travel Advisory for Colombia.
Also keep in mind that effective January 26, all airline passengers to the United States ages two years and older must provide a negative COVID-19 viral test taken within three calendar days of travel. Alternatively, travelers to the United States may provide documentation from a licensed health care provider of having recovered from COVID-19 in the 90 days preceding travel.
Conclusion
Paying $418 for a round-trip, lie-flat seat from NYC to Bogota is a great deal. We saw this sale a few weeks ago as well. There’s decent availability for now, but book sooner that later if interested.
You can actually find even cheaper flights, in cash or miles, if you don’t care much about comfort in a 5-6 hours long flight.
