Airfare Steal: Fly Boston to San Juan for 100 Points Each Way
I know you are probably on Zoom right now, and maybe thinking of what TV show to tackle next when you are done with your work-from-home day. But here’s a travel deal to give you some hope that we might travel again, soon.
JetBlue has an awesome deal for travel between Boston and San Juan in Puerto Rico. Awards are just 100 TrueBlue points each way. Yes you read that right. So a round-trip fare would cost just 200 TrueBlue points and $11.20 for taxes and fees. Even if you don’t have points, paid fares are just as cheap. You can find fares for $22 round-trip, including seat selection.
And the best part of this deal is that there is availability in November and December. I see plenty of dates with these cheap prices. You can book directly on the JetBlue website.
I am really hoping that we will be back to normal by November, otherwise we will have bigger issues than travel by then. But just in case, JetBlue has a generous change/cancellation policy, as do many other airlines. They are waiving change and cancel fees for all new bookings made between March 27, 2020 and April 30, 2020 for travel through January 4, 2021. If you cancel you will receive JetBlue Travel Bank credit that expires in 24 months, not a full refund. That’s probably not a big deal with these cheap fares.
Conclusion
A great deal for travel to a beautiful destination. We do not know for sure yet when travel will go back to normal, but my guess is that November should be OK. With these cheap prices and JetBlue’s change and cancellation policy, there is not much risk though.
Let us know if you book, or what your first destination would be once you are able to travel again.

I booked a flight to Paris for December back in January directly with Air France. I have not called to inquire on what my options are but I’m seriously considering not flying out to any outsider countries for quite a while as I feel there will be some sort of restrictions or requirements when this is all over. Flying will not be fun for a while…
Looks dead to me…
