Airfare Steal! Round-Trip to Tokyo from $161
If you’re looking to visit Japan, you should take a look at these deals that have popped up today. Prices start as low as $161 for round-trip fares from the East Coast to Tokyo. Best prices show up for Air Canada flights with a stopover in Montreal. There’s availability from October of this year, through March 2021.
With COVID-19 restrictions in place, it is not clear when you will be able to travel to Japan, so it’s probably best to book as far out as possible.
How to Book
To find the cheapest prices and dates that work for you, check Priceline or Booking.com. Some of the fares available include:

This be a mistake fare, so do not book anything else just yet for your Tokyo trip.
COVID-19 in Japan
COVID-19 risk in Japan is high. CDC recommends travelers avoid all nonessential international travel to Japan. Some examples of essential travel may include traveling for humanitarian aid work, medical reasons, or family emergencies. Older adults, people of any age with certain underlying medical conditions, and others at increased risk for severe illness should consider postponing all travel, including essential travel, to Japan. Conclusion
Most of these fares will not last long, so I would suggest checking right away if you plan to travel to Tokyo. Make sure to use a card that rewards you the most on travel purchases.

I had a flight scheduled with Air Canada from Philadelphia to Tokyo for 9/14/20. I paid $398 RT. They cancelled it and are only offering a voucher, no refund. They state they aren’t subject to the US DOT requirement to refund. I have filed a credit card charge back and will also file a complaint with the US DOT, but as of last check, they are the airline with the most complaints with the DOT. So, buyer beware.
