Airline Shopping Portals Holiday Bonus
American and Alaska Airlines have new bonuses for your holiday shopping. You can earn extra miles when you go through each airline’s shopping portal for your purchases. You get up to 4,000 bonus miles with American Airlines and another 1,500 with Alaska. Let’s look at the details.
American Airlines AAdvantage eShopping
During the “Holiday Bonus” offer, which runs from 11/4/21 through 11/19/21 at 11:59:59 pm ET, members will earn a one-time bonus of up to 4,000 AAdvantage miles on qualifying purchases, in addition to the standard AAdvantage miles earned from shopping online through the AAdvantage eShopping mall.
This one-time bonus award will be determined based on Member’s cumulative qualifying purchases made during the Bonus Period using one of the following tiers:
- Tier 1 bonus: 500 miles for qualifying purchases of at least $150;
- Tier 2 bonus: 1,500 miles for qualifying purchases of $600; or
- Tier 3 bonus: 4,000 miles for qualifying purchases of $1,200 or more.
Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Shopping
During the “Holiday Bonus” offer, which runs from 11/3/2021 through 11/19/2021 at 11:59:59 pm ET, members will receive a one-time bonus of up to 1,500 Mileage Plan bonus miles on qualifying purchases made through the Mileage Plan Shopping mall or from purchases made through Mileage Plan Shopping in-store offers.
This one-time bonus award will be determined using one of the following tiers, based on Member’s cumulative qualifying purchases made during the Bonus Period:
- Tier 1 bonus: 300 miles for qualifying purchases of at least $150;
- Tier 2 bonus: 750 miles for qualifying purchases of at least $350; or
- Tier 3 bonus: 1,500 miles for qualifying purchases of $550 or more.
