The Offer

Here’s how it works:

  1. Login with your Amazon Business account.
  2. Add item(s) shipped by Amazon to your basket
  3. At checkout enter the promo code SBM50 and a discount of 50% up to $150 USD will be applied on eligible items.

This offer is limited to a discount of $150 USD. One redemption per business account. Promo code is valid for 30 days since the date of receiving it or the end of the promotion.

The same promotion also offers free Business Prime Duo. This is a single-user $69/year add-on for small business owners already shopping with an Amazon Prime membership on a personal Amazon.com account, to add work benefits to their Amazon Business account.

  1. I’ve thought about the Duo accounts because Amazon keeps emailing me “you could have saved $107 [last year] by shopping on Amazon Business.”
    My business doesn’t use much from Amazon, but I could order general non-business family purchases on the business account to get the savings. How would that go over- any risk of consequences? Is it easy to determine if something is cheaper on the business account and order it through business, or would it involve looking up every purchase on both accounts to compare prices?
