Amazon usually has a running promotion for first time gift card buyers. However, now there’s a new deal that is showing up for many people, even those who have purchases amazon gift cards in the past.

You can earn a $8 promotional credit when purchasing a gift card of $40 or more. This is one of the best deals we have seen for gift card purchases.

But how can you find this deal? It is showing up for me when I visit think link. I checked with some Miles to Memories staff members, and they see it as well. So this promotion should at least be widely available.

  1. No credit given, although the promo was plastered over the top of every page as I went through the process of purchasing. I was going to forward the link to friends/family after I confirmed the credit, and I’m glad I didn’t.

Also, the “gift card” cannot be given to anyone else – no code is provided and as soon as you click on the “access gift card” link, it is immediately added to the account that is open in your browser. Pretty scammy all around.

  2. The problem with promo credits is that you can’t see them. I called afterward which consumed my time, and it wasn’t on the account despite my account saying I had the promo.

  3. I see it, but when I try placing an order I don’t see it anywhere … will wait to see what happens with EC above

  4. Clicking on your link, I found the quoted offer, purchased a $40 Amazon gift card, but so far, no $8 credit. I talked with a rep and they said I should see it in 24 hours–we will see.
