Using Ultimate Rewards to shop at Amazon is not a good idea but for this promotion you can use just one point to get the discount. These offers are targeted and usually you will not be eligible if you’ve done them recently. Worth checking if it works for you.

  1. It worked this try – thanks! But I’m seeing 50% off, to $15. I guess it’s worth putting $50 in the cart just to be sure, but that’s what my offer reads.

    • Patrick – try enrolling. If it doesn’t work, add a Chase card that earns UR, wait a day or 2, and then try enrolling again. On the flip side, if you have cards enrolled but can’t activate the promotion, remove those cards from your Amazon account, wait a day or 2, try again. Fiddling around can help you get it when it wasn’t working at first.

  2. I’m having trouble linking my CSR to my Amazon acct to pay with points. Says not able to do it at this time. Got same message when I tried last month. Any suggestions?

    • I have never had that issue. Have you tried removing the CSR from your Amazon account and then adding it back on? You give them some sort of permission when adding a partner card and perhaps it needs that.
