American Airlines Admirals Club Austin
American Airlines will open an expanded Admirals Club® lounge at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), spanning more than 12,000 square feet.
The lounge is located on the west side of the terminal, doubling its current footprint at AUS. It will also have a unique feature, the first outdoor terrace space in American’s lounge network, offering views of downtown Austin and the airfield.
“As we elevate our presence in Austin, we’re excited to bring a new level of comfort and hospitality to our customers,” said American’s Chief Customer Officer Heather Garboden. “This new Admirals Club® lounge will reflect the vibrant spirit of Austin while offering the thoughtful design and premium amenities our customers expect.”
Construction will begin this year, and the current lounge will remain open for customers during construction. The new lounge will feature distinct zones designed to balance style, comfort and function, including areas to relax, dine, work and recharge.
For those traveling domestically, Admirals Club lounge access is available through an Admirals Club membership, qualifying oneworld status or the Citi / AAdvantage Executive World Elite Mastercard. Citi / AAdvantage Globe Mastercard cardholders can also use one of their four Admirals Club Globe passes, valid for 24 hours.
AAdvantage Platinum status or higher and non-AAdvantage, oneworld Emerald and Sapphire members on qualifying itineraries can visit the Flagship® lounge when traveling internationally in a Flagship cabin.
