Amex Changing Dell and Adobe Credits on Business Platinum Card

American Express revealed today that the Dell and Adobe credits on the Business Platinum card are changing soon.

The Dell credit will be lowered from $400 to $150 for most people, but big spenders can get up to $1,150 back. The Adobe credit goes from $150, to $250 off $600 purchase. The changes will go into effect for the second half of the year. Let’s see the details.

Changes to Dell and Adobe Credits

Starting July 1, 2025, the current Adobe and Dell benefits will be replaced by the following:

  • Adobe: Enrolled Business Platinum Card Members can get a $250 statement credit after they spend $600 or more on U.S. purchases made directly with Adobe from July 1-Dec 31, 2025 (and for each calendar year after).
    • Current Adobe BenefitValid through June 30, 2025, enrolled Business Platinum Card Members can earn up to $150 in statement credits on select Adobe purchases on the Business Platinum Card.
    • The new Adobe benefit will provide Business Platinum Card Members with a statement credit for spend on all U.S. purchases made directly with Adobe, expanded from spend on select products.
  • Dell: Enrolled Business Platinum Card Members can get up to $150 in statement credits on U.S. purchases made directly with Dell and an additional $1,000 statement credit after they spend $5,000 or more on those purchases from July 1-Dec 31, 2025 (and for each calendar year after).
    • Current Dell BenefitValid through June 30, 2025, enrolled Business Platinum Card Members can earn up to $200 in statement credits semi-annually – $400 annually – on U.S. purchases with Dell on the Business Platinum Card.

What You Need to Know

Business Platinum Card Members who were already enrolled in the current benefit(s) will be automatically enrolled in the new benefit(s). They just need to start spending at Adobe or Dell to start taking advantage of the new benefit(s). If a Card Member was not previously enrolled in either or both benefits, enrollment is required in order to earn these credits.

In 2025, Business Platinum Card Members enrolled in the Adobe or Dell benefits may receive both the current and new benefits. Eligible purchases made directly with Adobe and Dell, respectively, from January 1 through June 30, 2025 will be counted towards the current benefits.

Starting July 1, 2025, eligible purchases made directly with Adobe and Dell, respectively, will be counted towards the new benefits.

  1. I agree. The yearly fee is high but at least I felt I got my credits or most of them. I’d use the Adobe for work license and Dell credits and cell phone credit. But really $600 Adobe credit that’s ridiculous. They are making it easier and easier for one to say goodbye to the card. I’m not interested in carrying a heavy card for prestige. Nope. I have better ways to spend an annual fee of $700!

  2. One more reason to cancel my card. Who would spend $5000 at Dell – little selection … constant shipping/cancellation problems … overprized
