Amex Offers 40% Transfer Bonus for Virgin Points
American Express has launched a new promotion this month for points transfers to Virgin.
American Express cardmembers can earn 40% more Virgin Points when they transfer Membership Rewards® points to Virgin Atlantic. For eligible Card Members looking to top up their Virgin Points balance during the festive season, this is a quick and easy way to boost points.
For example, when transferring 1,000 American Express Membership Rewards points into Virgin Points, cardmembers will receive 400 extra points for a total of 1,400 Virgin Points.
Virgin Points can be redeemed for rewards across Virgin Red and Flying Club – from flights and upgrades to cruises and more. The latter can get you more value for your points but you can also book saver reward seats from just 6,000 Virgin Points one way.
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Minimum transfer is 1,000 Membership Rewards points.
- This promotion runs until 11:59 p.m. MT on 12/31/2024.
- Additional Virgin Points will be awarded at the time of transfer.
- Generally, transfers are immediate but please allow up to 72 hours for the transfer to be completed.
- Virgin Points never expire.
