Amex Transfer Bonus For Virgin Atlantic

Targeted Amex Transfer Bonus For Virgin Atlantic – Up To 30%

Some people have been targeted for an increased Membership Rewards transfer bonus to Virgin Atlantic.  These come around from time to time from American Express and for Citi ThankYou points as well.

Some people are seeing a targeted offer for a 30% in their Membership Rewards accounts.  Virgin Atlantic miles are valuable for booking Delta flights at lower rates.  They are great for international or domestic travel.

Key Terms

  • Minimum transfer is 1,000 Membership Rewards points.
  • Additional Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles will be awarded at the time of transfer.
  • Redeem for this exclusive offer until 12/28/19, to receive 30% additional Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles

Conclusion

We see this promotion every few months. For that reason, I would only transfer them if/when you find award space. You have until December 28th to get a transfer bonus. There does not seem to be a cap on miles transferred for most people.

Did you get targeted?

  1. Thanks for the story. I was targeted for 30% bonus, so may use that to secure some amazing Delta One availability from Indy to Paris right now. 50K each way for business class, so really only about 39K points. And I can find 4 seats. My only question is, what’s the best way to find out exact seat layout on Boeing 767-300 with Delta One. Everything I see shows mixed signals. Looks like it’s definitely not Delta One suites. But don’t want to transfer the points unless the seat is at least decent. Thanks!

  2. Trying to learn how to use Virgin points…. I live in TPA, when I search TPA/ATL shows 12500 miles on a Delta flight. When I search ATL/SXM it shows 15,000 miles also on Delta. However when I search TPA/SXM I get an error. That should be the same Delta flights.
