Amex Sending Upgrade Offers on Some Credit Cards

American Express has been sending out emails with upgrade offers on some of its credit cards. These Amex upgrade offers sometimes also show up on the Amex Offers section in your online account. Usually you need to have had a card for at least a year before getting these upgrade offers.

Upgrade Offers

  • No Fee Hilton Card
    • Upgrade to Hilton Ascend and earn 75,000 Hilton Honors points after $2,000 in spend within the first 3 months of upgrade.
    • Annual fee is not waived
  • Blue Cash Card
    • Upgrade to Blue Cash Preferred and receive $150 points after $2,000 in spend within the first 3 months of upgrade.
    • Annual fee is waived

 

Once Per Lifetime Language

With past upgrade offers it has been possible to get the upgrade bonus even if you have carried the card previously.

Conclusion

These upgrade offer are a great opportunity to get a bonus on a card you’ve already had in the past, and there’s no hard inquiry. Check your account or emails and hopefully you see an offer.
