Another Hilton Devaluation
Hilton has increased award prices once again at many properties. This devaluation seemed to have kicked off today or yesterday, which some Hilton hotels jumping up in price by as much as 30%.
The Hilton Honors program does not have an award chart, so Hilton increased prices without any official announcement to members.
Most of the affected properties are on the high end, with a couple of Waldorf properties at least going from 200,000 points per night to 250,000.
Here are some of the properties that have jumped up in price:
- Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal: From 190K to 250K points/night.
- Waldorf Maldives Ithaafushi: From 190K to 250K
- RiverView Ranch Retreat: From 200K to 220K
- eriro, an SLH Hotel: From 150K to 200K
- Conrad Maldives Rangali Island: From 140K to 180K
Free Night Rewards can still be used to book whenever a Standard Room Reward is available.
I’m sure there are many other properties where prices have increased. Let us know if you have come across these price increases in the last few days!
Grand Hotel Victoria (SLH) jumped from 140k to 170k.
Now I’m waiting for Hilton to cap the free night certs and make them totally useless.
