This is great info for those of you like me who are planning a return to Hong Kong soon. It’s good to hear that things are largely returning to normal and i wouldn’t mind seeing the city in its current less crowded state before all of the tourists return.
An interesting look at a problem I know a lot of people run into. How do you share expenses and how do you end up avoiding getting stuck sharing a bill with others who over indulge! I do like the miles/points angle that is mentioned. Have you ever run into problems splitting travel costs with friends?

In the past I’ve been the one in charge for group vacay. Granted it was family. So I didn’t mind doing it then. But the idea of Everything in my name and on my cc was frightful at the time. Especially when you have one family leaving the room such a mess and another throwing up in the rental… Glad there were no additional charges at that time but nowadays who knows what would go on my credit card. So for those reasons not sure if I’d want to be the head honcho again…
