Recently a couple of BA bloggers posted pieces about how great it was that people could talk at their phones inflight. One form VFTW was on April 1st so I naturally assumed it was a prank and not one commenter (out of several dozen) agreed with the post but there’s still been no Gotcha or retraction so who knows? Then LALF posted the same view a day later with the same response. I’m trying to figure how flight attendants who can’t or won’t police bad behavior normally are suddenly going to become effective phone cops. I foresee a heap of trouble from this.
Hopefully the other airlines are paying close attention and there will be lots of coverage if it becomes a mess like we think it will be.
