  1. Speaking of Amex refreshes, it’s been about five years since the personal Green card was last updated.

    It’s going on two years since a personal everyday spending card that earns MRs has been available. Given the rollout of the Graphite business cash back card, it’s reasonable to ask whether Amex is going to straight cash back on everyday spending — personal and business. And, the only MR cards will the Platinum/Gold/Green. Might the BBP be in the crosshairs?

    • I was always a bit surprised on them pulling the Everyday cards, but I think they were better than most of the general population realized. I think the earning structure just confused people. I could see them going with more straight forward earning structure if they every brought something similar back.
