I thought the story about the painting was a recent story, but realized it was almost 3 years ago. I am also surprised the auction house accepted AMEX.
I thought it was new as well Alex. I am ashamed to say I didn’t look at the date. It was shared in our FB group so I assumed it was new. Still surprised they were able to make the sale work.
