This is an amazing product but I have never been compelled to jump through all of the hoops to get it.  Simplicity is my word of the year and this card doesn’t fall into that realm.  If you were interested in the card Greg goes over all of the highlights in detail.

It took American Express way too long to get on top of this.  It seems like something they would have been able to figure out and make right within a few days.  At least they are admitting fault and making people whole.

  2. I thought the story about the painting was a recent story, but realized it was almost 3 years ago. I am also surprised the auction house accepted AMEX.

    • I thought it was new as well Alex. I am ashamed to say I didn’t look at the date. It was shared in our FB group so I assumed it was new. Still surprised they were able to make the sale work.
