  1. Yeah, I think that person that said Amex shut down their accounts for being abusive is actually an Amex customer service person that is lashing out after dealing with an abusive customer and wanted to scare people into being nicer.

  2. That flyertalk poster seems very suspicious, but then again it’s Amex. I would rather jump off a cliff than believe Amex.

  3. The United miles ideas sound good. I knew about the offer before but I didn’t want to spend a lot or run around town but cheap, quick, and easy is a tough combination to turn down. Thanks for the heads up.
