HOW DISNEY WORLD BRINGS OUT THE BEST AND WORST IN FAMILIES – Miles for Family

I don’t think I have ever been to Disney without hearing, do you know how much this trip cost us!?!? To their whining children.  You definitely see both sides of it, often from the same family, in the same day. I think people go way too hard because of the sky high prices Disney sucks out of their patrons which leads to a lot of this.

United Airlines To Give Vaccinated Flight Attendants Extra Days Off – Travel Pulse

Stuff like this worked at the casinos in Vegas.  They were able to go to full capacity relatively quickly by incentivizing their work staff to get vaccinated.  Not surprising to see it going to the airlines.

NEARLY GETTING BITTEN BY DELTA’S BASIC ECONOMY AWARD TICKET POLICIES – Travel Pulse

I have talked about that booking basic economy made a ton of sense during the pandemic.  But things have reverted back to the ways they were for those tickets.  It can still make sense at times but it isn’t as good of a deal as it once was.

  1. Mark,

Regarding the Disney Best/Worst, I know you’ve mentioned on the podcast that you’ve no love for theme parks (is it just Disney?), but you do love Orlando. Have you ever done a ‘favorite-things-to-do’ type of post or list, as a possible alternative to the theme parks for families heading there? I know that the World’s Biggest McDonalds is likely on there 😉 , but would love to hear what other aspects of Orlando you enjoy with the family.

    • I have not but that is a great idea. I have had Crayola Experience review pending for like 2 years now I need to finish up haha. I think I just prefer amusement parks to theme parks. More rides and usually less lines. It is something I will have to get together though.
