IHG Launches Yet Another Luxury Hotel Brand: Should Accor Be Worried? – Skift

I am so tired of hotel companies continually adding brands instead of working on fixing the ones they already have.  The one IHG is trying to launch makes a lot more sense though since it will be a soft brand.  Basically independent hotels join for more exposure, advertising etc. but keep their uniqueness. It will be similar to Hilton’s LXR Hotels & Resorts and Marriott’s The Luxury Collection.
