Articles

Nearly $7,000 of travel for $1,000 – Bahamas – The Miles Man

I always enjoy trip report breakdowns like this. That is why I did something similar for my Alaska trip.

Las Vegas Poised for Another Hotel-Casino – Travel Pulse

I am not sure how well an airport hotel / casino will do in Vegas.

[Targeted] Redeem American Express Membership Rewards Points against Charges with 40% Discount (1 cent-per-point) – Doctor of Credit

A pretty good offer for anyone targeted and that doesn’t have a Schwab Platinum. With the reduction to 1.1 cents per point with the Schwab Platinum I wish this would be a regular option.

  1. Ugh. Miles Man is a website where people brag about using their award miles and points under the mistaken impression that they are “free”, and that the flight they were on was “worth” $10,000.

    • I still think it is useful to see what miles where used and other deals / stacking even if prices are inflated etc.
