Frontier reduces baggage weight allowance – The Miles Man

It stinks that status doesn’t even exempt you from the lower baggage weight allowance. I know a lot of people took advantage of the status match opportunity this time around.

Hilton DisHonors: More Than 75% Of Hilton Properties Worldwide Don’t Have To Offer Upgrades – Frequent Miler

I feel like I don’t get upgrades 100% of the time anyway 🤣 (at least in the US). Well unless you call higher floor rooms an “upgrade”.  A lot of the brands listed are limited service properties anyway so I don’t feel like we are missing much. But it is surprising that so many are listed in the terms.

Column: Chase let an elderly customer wire more than $600,000 to an overseas scammer – LA Times

This seems like a huge systematic failure and it seems to happen much too often.  The fact that one of the transfers was denied for fear of fraud but no notes or blocks made on the account is shocking really.  The fact that she was allowed to go to another branch and transfer even more than what was denied AFTER being denied…yikes.
