This is a stretch in my opinion. I don’t think anybody would think an almost $3,000 fare is an obvious mistake fare. If you post a price online it should be honored. Do a better job and you wouldn’t have to worry about it is my thoughts on stuff like this.

  1. Actually, I live in WA state. When I owned a car that used Gasoline, and traveled south to Oregon, it was STILL cheaper to have someone pump my gas there than to do it myself here in WA state. Why? GAS TAXES AND SALES TAXES. They differ from state to state. BTW, I believe NJ has pretty low gas taxes as well, resulting in lower price per gallon. Thus that full service being more expensive can easily be a fallacy.

    • While true when compared to other states the fact that the station has to pay someone is going to have a baked cost in there to offset it. So it would be even cheaper without it.
