Articles

Hertz sharply devalues its loyalty program with little warning to members – TPG

A 30% devaluation is bad enough but to do it without notice is really dirty. I guess they need to save money for all those false imprisonment lawsuits that will be rolling in any time now. Hertz is a horrible company, avoid at all costs.

American Express Platinum: Issues With Walmart+ Credit Posting – Doctor of Credit

Count me as one caught up in this. My charge from July 28th never credited. Of course it is the month I got hit with my annual and am likely closing the card too.

Uber is shutting down its free rewards program this fall – Engadget

They are in a big push towards profitability so this was an easy thing to cut costs on. At least they gave some heads up, unlike Hertz.
