Aruba Eases Entry Requirements
Aruba announced that it will ease entry requirements for all visitors. Effective February 3rd, 2022, Aruba will accept certain vaccine certificates, and will be open to all countries.
The island nation is allowing travelers to choose between taking an antigen test one day prior, or a PCR test up to a maximum of three days prior to traveling to Aruba or the option to travel with a digitally verifiable QR-Code proof of COVID-19 booster vaccination. Fully vaccinated travelers are not required to test to enter Aruba.
Travelers between ages 12 and 17 may enter Aruba with a completed primary set of shots, but no booster is required. And visitors 12 and older who have tested positive for COVID-19 via a molecular nasopharyngeal swab test performed 10 days to 12 weeks prior to travel who do not show symptoms will be exempt from the requirement to provide a negative COVID-19 test result for entry to Aruba.
Necessary proof must be uploaded as part of Aruba’s Embarkation/Debarkation Card process no earlier than three days before arrival.
The Government of Aruba together with the Department of Public Health continuously monitors the situation based on a range of factors and epidemiological indicators to assess risk levels. and to determine how to further adapt, if necessary.
Even as Aruba eases travel restrictions, its Health & Happiness Code remains a priority. It outlines stringent cleaning and hygiene standards, and is mandatory for all tourism-related businesses throughout the country.
