Bilt revealed today a new transfer partner for its rewards program. Starting today, you can transfer your Bilt Points 1:1 to Aviance LifeMiles.

Avianca is the largest airline in Colombia and has been its flag carrier 1919. The airline has an extensive network across Central and South America from its hub in Bogotá.

Bilt members can now transfer points in 1,000 increments and Bilt Blue members must transfer a minimum of 2,000 points. You can also earn 100 bonus points when you link your LifeMiles account in the Bilt app.

Beside Avianca, Bilt already has several transfer partners that are part of the Star Alliance, such as Air Canada, Turkish Airlines and United Airlines. With the addition on Avianca LifeMiles, Bilt now has a total of 16 transfer partners. That includes 13 airline programs and 3 hotels.

Earning Avianca LifeMiles is fairly easy since the program is laso a transfer partner for other valuable currencies such as American Express Membership Rewards, Capital One Miles, and Citi ThankYou Rewards.

When it comes to redeeming LifeMiles, you can get good value for flights awards, but you can also use them for hotel stays, car rentals, travel experiences and more. The process itself though is a bit cumbersome.
