Bilt Offers Free Hyatt Explorist Status and Challenge for Globalist

Bilt’s Rent Day is almost here. But even before we get to April 1st, Bilt Rewards has revealed a nice surprise for members, and anyone else wishing to join for free.

All members can now get free World of Hyatt status for 90 days, with the chance to extend it or upgrade it until early 2025. And best of all, you don’t need to have the Bilt Mastercard. Let’s see how this offer works and how you can get in on it.

The Double Elite Nights Credit On World Of Hyatt Card Deserves Attention

Get World of Hyatt Elite Status

Starting today, March 28 through April 1, 2023, all Bilt Rewards members can enroll to receive free World of Hyatt Explorist status for 90 days. You then have the opportunity to keep Explorist status or upgrade to top-tier Globalist status through February 28, 2025.

Some of the Explorist benefits include  late 2 p.m. check-out, room upgrades and a 20% bonus earning on stays. If you upgrade to Globalist, you can then enjoy suite upgrades, complimentary full breakfast and 4 p.m. late check-out among other benefits.

The first step to get in on this offer is to have a Bilt Rewards and World of Hyatt account. Both are free to join. You then need to link your Bilt Rewards and World of Hyatt accounts in the Bilt app under the “Travel” tab.

Once you link account you will receive confirmation of your enrollment by April 17 and will be able to enjoy Explorist benefits through July 16, 2023. But it doesn’t end there.

You have the option to extend the Hyatt Explorist status. If you stay 10 qualifying nights between April 17 and July 16, 2023, you will have Explorist through February 28, 2025. If you stay 20 qualifying nights during the same period, you’ll earn Hyatt Globalist status through February 28, 2025.

Conclusion

Bilt Rewards has been offering some great promotions recently through its Rent Day event. While all the other monthly offers will be available on April 1st, you can get started on your World of Hyatt elite status today. Anyone can join Bilt Rewards for free and enjoy at least Explorist status for 90 day.

Then you have a short window to complete your stays to extend or upgrade your status. But this is a much easier option to earn World of Hyatt elite status. Normally, Explorist is earned after 30 nights or 50,000 base points and Globalist is earned after 60 nights or 100,000 base points ($20,000 in spending).

One thing worth noting is that if you earn Globalist through this fast track promotion, you are not eligible for Milestone Rewards or My Hyatt Concierge. You will still need to hit the required number of stays for those benefits.

Let us know what you think of this latest Bilt offering, and if you plan to pursue Hyatt status.

  1. I have no immediate travel planned but Globalist till 2025 sounds nice. Do you need to physically check in for a mattress run? I found rooms at a Hyatt place in Shanghai for $39 a night. With no plans at all to go there. Can I book 20 nights and basically buy Globalist for $906.84?

  2. I wonder if Hyatt will give us Explorist if we already did a challenge last year? Prob not but I’ll be happy if they do.
