Capital One Lounge at JFK
Capital One announced today the addition of its latest airport lounge, the Capital One Lounge at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).
The flagship lounge spans 13,500 square feet, making it Capital One’s largest lounge yet, and is located on the lower level of Terminal 4’s retail hall. The Capital One Lounge at JFK will open its doors on Thursday, June 19.
Open 24 hours daily, the space includes distinct areas inspired by iconic New York experiences, like a Manhattan-style bar, a dining area designed to evoke Central Park, the bodega designed to resemble a classic New York deli counter, and an interactive cheesemonger experience. The new lounge also features the most expansive tarmac views of any Capital One Lounge.
The Capital One Lounge at JFK is also debuting several new offerings exclusive to the flagship location, including a new “Midnight Snack” daily ritual serving late-night bites as an ode to the city that never sleeps.
It’s worth noting that Capital One announced negative changes to lounge access for Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders. These changes mainly affect authorized users and guests, as they will need to pay for lounge access going forward. Most of these changes will go into effect in February of next year.
The latest flagship Capital One Lounge at JFL adds to current locations at DFW, IAD, DEN, LAS. Following its initial debut at DCA, Capital One will also add another Capital One Landing concept at New York’s LaGuardia Airport’s (LGA) Terminal B.
