Capital One Lounge Coming to Las Vegas Airport

New Capital One Lounge Coming to Las Vegas Airport

Capital One recently launched its Lounge network and opened the first location at Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport a year ago. Two additional lounges were announced already for Denver International Airport and at Washington Dulles International Airport. They were set to open in 2022, but the opening date has been pushed for sometime in 2023.

While Capital One is working on those two lounges, it is also looking to secure more locations elsewhere. It has now been revealed that the fourth lounge will be in Las Vegas.

The Clark County Board of Commissioners has approved a lease agreement for Capital One to open a new lounge at the Las Vegas Airport (LAS), according to public documents. The news was first reported by Thrifty Traveler.

The 7,875-square-foot space is located at the center of the D concourse. This is a 10-year lease with an option for a five-year extension.

Based on the images included in the documents, the Las Vegas lounge will likely be similar to the one at DFW. We should expect a Grab and Go food section with a full bar and coffee cafe, including cold brew and draft lattes, among other items. Some amenities include soundproof relaxation rooms, luggage lockers, power at every chair, and high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the lounge.

Capital One Venture X Rewards cardholders get complimentary access to Capital One Lounges. They can also bring two guests along. Capital One Venture Rewards and Spark Miles cardholders get two free visits per year, and discounted access rates for additional visits. Day passes for everyone else cost $65.

  1. The decision had been made and announced to great fanfare a year before the pandemic. Cap One had no problem selling cards with a $395 membership fee for lounges that they knew ere not going to exist for years. The airport was open for business the entire time. And 3 years is a vey long time to bulid one single lounger in an empty space.

    • To be fair, the pandemic delayed lots of business decisions and construction projects. Including C1’s lounge rollout. Of course, I would love to see more of their lounges, and sooner!
