CardCash Sale, Save an Extra 5% on Gift Cards

CardCash Sale, Save an Extra 5% on Gift Cards

CardCash has a new promotion that will save you 5% more on all gift cards sold on the site. I did a quick search and the code seems to be working on all discounted cards, including Staples and Office Depot.

The Offer

Take an extra 5% off all gift cards – Code: HOLIDAYS.

Buy Gift Cards at CardCash

Key Terms

  • All CardCash promotions are valid until the expiration date written on the email.
  • Most promotions are not yet available on the app.
  • Maximum $3,000 per customer

45 Day Guarantee Only!

CardCash only guarantees their cards for 45 days. There have been many reported issues with purchased cards, especially as they get older. CardCash is solid with guaranteeing cards within the 45 day window. But to avoid any potential headaches, you should only buy cards that you have an immediate use for.

Conclusion

It’s always nice to get an extra 5% off already discounted gift cards. Definitely do a quick comparison search to make sure you can’t find specific cards cheaper elsewhere. I like to look at Giftcardgranny.com. Remember you no longer earn 5X with Chase Ink cards through PayPal. Read Mark’s post for a few options to still earn 3X or 5X at CardCash and other gift card resellers.

Just keep their guarantee policy in mind and you should be fine.

  1. I agree with the prior posters. There is just WAY too much fraud with the cards they sell. I think I average 50% fraud on their cards. That’s crazy — who needs that hassle. They don’t even check the balance of the cards on the day you buy them so, frequently, they arrive in your possession partially or completely drained. And then 45 days is a ridiculous limitation — most other gift card resellers give you AT LEAST 100 days. I would only consider doing business with them again if the discount was huge (like 30%) and I knew with 100% certainty that I’d use the money within 45 days.

I will say that when I catch the fraud within the 45-day window, they have refunded me my money.

  2. I just recently bought twice from them, they emailed rather quickly both times, and both came with ZERO balance. Refund took a few days, acceptable speed, but I hate doing business with such company.

  3. Be extra careful with CardCash. Fraudsters live there and on Day 46 your unused balances on your gift cards will go to zero in many cases.
