Chase Appears to Be Ending the Chase Offers Program

Chase launched a new program known as “Chase Offers” in November, 2017. To date, enrollment in the program has been limited to Chase Marriott Cards and Chase Slate. I logged onto the Chase offers website for my Marriott Card this morning and noticed that the log in page now says “Welcome to Chase Offers where you’ll find offers from brands you love through March 31, 2018.” Followed by “Final days to enroll and save at your favorite merchants.” I’m surprised by this and truly disappointed.

Final Thoughts

When Chase began this program, there was so much promise. The offers have been terrific and have included Gap Inc. Brands, Staples, Whole Foods, Starbucks, Movie Theaters and many popular restaurants. I think many of us involved in this hobby were hopeful that a new Amex Offers competitor was on the rise. Sure, it was a slow start and we all wondered when they would include some cards that people actually had in the program, but still… I had hope.

Sadly, it appears that Chase will move on. It seems like they really didn’t give it much of a chance, especially since one of the cards was the Chase Slate. We can only hope that they are planning something bigger and better that will actually include more cards. Maybe, they will revamp their sad Savings Edge program.
