Chase Freedom Unlimited, $300 Targeted Bonus
Chase has a new targeted offer for its Chase Freedom Unlimited credit card that’s being sent by email. We’ve seen this offer in the past and it’s as good as it gets for this card. You can read our Chase Freedom Unlimited Review here.
The Offer
- Earn $300 Cash Back after you spend $500 on purchases within three months of account opening.
Chase Freedom Unlimited Benefits
- 0% intro APR for 15 months
- Unlimited 1.5% cash back (UR) on any purchase
- No Annual Fee
Analysis
This card falls under Chase’s 5/24 rule. Email offers will not work to get around 5/24.
This is the highest offer we’ve seen for this card, and the bonus should be worth more than the spending requirement for most people. You just need to have a Sapphire Preferred or Ink card so you can transfer cash back to UR points.
If you recently applied for this card for the lesser bonus, then it might be worth a shot at asking to be matched for this better offer. Chase is usually pretty good at matching public offers, but sometimes they also match targeted ones as well.
Conclusion
This is a great bonus for a no fee card. But the problem with the offer is that most readers will be way over 5/24. And for those under 5/25, there’s better bonuses and better cards out there.
Do you thinks it’s worth it?

That’s a great offer. Unfortunately, I wasn’t targeted!
So, I assume they would only consider matching it if I received said e-mail?
