Chase has two increased offers for IHG credit cards, for a total of 240,000 IHG points. Both are the best offers that we have seen for the IHG Rewards Club Premier and IHG Rewards Club Traveler credit cards. If you are getting ready to travel and are looking at IHG properties, then take a look at these two cards that also provide extra benefits, besides the welcome offers.

Eligibility

This product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of this credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of this credit card who received a new cardmember bonus for this credit card within the last 24 months.

Additionally, both cards fall under the Chase 5/25 rule.

Conclusion

These are two good offers if you are looking to add more IHG points to your accounts. Both offers provide the highest bonuses that we have seen on these two Chase IHG credit cards.

The IHG Rewards Club Premier card is probably the more interesting one, since it has a higher welcome offer and more benefits. The 140K offer has been around before but now the annual fee is also waived the first year.

  1. It would be great if folks would post some data points if you (like I am) are in the first two month period of this card with a 75,000 point SUB. I’ll be calling too. If you’re successful, or not, details on how it played out would be helpful.

    • So I called asking for bump from 75000 SUB to 100000 SUB. CSR transferred me to “Superior.” The superior went clicking around, wasn’t immediately aware of the 100k offer, put me on hold, and after half a minute or so advised that yes, I can get the full 100k points but first complete the spending requirement, then call back, use today’s date as call reference date, and they will adjust the bonus to 100k. So far, so good.
