Targeted Offer For Chase Ink Preferred, 100K Points Bonus
Chase sent out emails this morning to some people, myself included, with a great increased offer on the Chase Ink Preferred card. Let’s take a look.
The Offer
100,000 BONUS POINTS After you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.

Analysis
The regular offer for the Chase Ink Preferred Business Card is 80,000 Ultimate Rewards. There was talk of this increased offer for Small Business Week but it looked like it was only available to those who apply through a business manager in branch.
But now Chase is targeting some people and I’m not really sure what the criteria is. I have Ink Bold and Ink Plus already and I am way over 5/24. I believe it is a targeted offer, since not everyone is getting the email offer and the standard offer is still at 80K on the Chase website.
This is obviously a much better bonus than the regular offer, but you could get the same total points if you went through a friend’s or family member’s referral (20K referral bonus + 80K sign up bonus).

Chase 5/24
Sadly this card falls under the 5/24 rule so it will be out of reach for many people. Even if you received an email, you still can not get around this rule. Only pre-approved offers, not targeted offers, work to get you past it.
Conclusion
This is obviously a great offer and the best ever on this card. Keep in mind that the card falls under the 5/24 rule and most likely you need to have received an email from Chase in order to qualify for this increased offer. If you didn’t get an email, then make sure you apply through a referral at least to get someone else a 20K bonus, or check in branch for an increased offer.
If you recently applied, you could also ask send a secured message to ask to get matched to this higher 100K offer, although it’s harder to do so for targeted offers.
