Earn 5x/10x Points on Lyft Rides with Chase Cards

Chase and Lyft have teamed up to offer extra rewards when you use Chase credit cards for Lyft rides. We already mentioned the 10x earning with the changes coming to the Chase Sapphire Reserve card.

But  the partnership will bring extra earnings to all Chase branded cards. Beginning Jan 12, millions of cardmembers across Chase-branded credit cards can earn additional points or cash back, when they use eligible Chase cards on their Lyft accounts, through March 2022.

Update 4/2/22: This offer has been extended until March of 2025.

Chase Sapphire Preferred®, Chase Freedom®, Freedom Unlimited®, Freedom Student® and Ink cardmembers will receive 5x total Ultimate Rewards® points or 5% cash back on Lyft rides.

These cards do not get the free Lyft Pink benefit that will be given to Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders.

Benefits by Card

  • Chase Sapphire Reserve, J.P. Morgan Reserve:
    • 10x total points on Lyft Rides
    • 1 year of complimentary Lyft Pink membership per account (business profile is not eligible)
  • Chase Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire, Ink Preferred, and Ink Plus:

    • 5x total points on Lyft Rides

  • Chase Freedom, Student, and Freedom Unlimited:

    • 5% total cash back on Lyft rides

  • Chase Ink Cash, Ink Unlimited:

    • 5% total cash back on Lyft rides

How to Earn

Getting started is a breeze:

  1. Make sure you have the latest version of the Lyft app downloaded.
  2. Set your eligible Chase card as your default payment method.
  3. Earn on rides through March 2022.

Conclusion

A nice benefit for Chase cards. You are getting an extra bonus category without a fee increase on the rest of cards, besides the CSR.
