  1. Since the offer terms indicate booking by the date but not staying I guess that means restaurants etc charges to the room on an award stay wouldn’t trigger it.

    I’m curious how the chase credit card system would know when the stay reservation was made with Hyatt. I’d be surprised if hotels norma report that info when they charge a credit card during the stay.
