Chase is offering one extra Ultimate Rewards point when you use any of your Chase Sapphire cards through any of the major digital wallets.

The Offer

Get an additional bonus point when you use your eligible Chase Sapphire® card in Chase Pay®, Android Pay™, Apple Pay® or Samsung Pay.

To get an additional point per $1 spent, simply use your Sapphire card in Chase Pay®, Android Pay™, Apple Pay® or Samsung Pay between Oct. 4 and Nov. 4, 2017. You will earn an additional point per $1 spent on purchases up to $1,500 in addition to the points you already earn.

Conclusion

Sucks that it is limited to only $1,500 in spending, but could be a great added bonus if you have a Chase Sapphire Reserve card. With the extra point, you can earn 4X Ultimate Rewards in Travel and Dining. The offer should work for online purchases as well.

We also saw a similar deal from Discover when you can earn $15 with three mobile wallets transactions.

  1. The difficult thing is I can’t think of too many restaurants (excluding fast food joints) that accept Apple Pay or its cousins. This would’ve been much easier with Freedom’s Department store category.
