Chase Plans to Open a Sapphire Lounge at San Diego Airport

Chase has officially unveiled three locations locations for its new network of airport lounges. They are branding these lounges as Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club. One is coming to Boston Logan International Airport, another at New York’s LaGuardia Airport and a first international location at Hong Kong International Airport.

But now Chase is working on a fourth location. This latest lounge is coming to San Diego International Airport (SAN). It’s the first lounge on the West Coast.

In early November, Airport Dimensions was awarded the contract to build an 11,000-square-foot lounge in San Diego’s Terminal 2 West, TPG reports. The information comes from public board meeting documents where some rendering of the new lounge were also included. Airport Dimensions has partnered with Chase for the new lounges.

The Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at San Diego International Airport could welcome guests in November 2023 if everything goes according to plans.

The lounge will feature “locally inspired design, local food, beverages and art partnerships.” Airport Dimensions and Chase get a 10 year lease for the lounge location. It will be located on the mezzanine level, between Gates 46 and 47.

When Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club locations open, lounges will be available to Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers. Priority Pass members will also have access.
