Analysis
This is the not best offer that we have ever seen for the Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card, as we saw a 80,000 points bonus late last year. But this is a public offer again so, everyone can apply as long they are eligible for a welcome bonus and are under 5/24.
Value wise, you can easily get $800 out of the welcome offer. But it could be even better ($1,000+) if you transfer points to travel partners. That’s often the best use of Chase Ultimate Rewards.
If you need any ideas on what to do with these points, check out Ryan’s post here. In this case, you would have a total of 64,000 points in your account, once you are done with the spending requirement.
Conclusion
If you are eligible for this Chase Sapphire Preferred 60K offer it could be worth applying, if you missed out on the big 80K offer. If you recently applied just for the 60K offer, send Chase a message and ask to get matched to this new offer with the extra $50 credit for groceries.
