Chase Says They Don’t Plan to Increase Fee on Ritz-Carlton Card
The Ritz-Carlton Card is a popular product that’s no longer available for direct applications. You can still get it through a product change for an eligible Marriott card, such as the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card. You will need to hold that card for at least one year and you can then upgrade to the Ritz-Carlton card.
The Ritz-Carlton card currently offers some valuable benefits and still have a relatively lower annual fee of $450. However, over the last few days we have heard rumors that the annual fee could jump to $695.
That information has been shared by multiple phone reps, with some even mentioning a start date in August or October.
Based on these rumors, we asked Chase for comment, and their PR team simply said that “there are no upcoming annual fee changes on the Ritz-Carlton Card.
What that means exactly, it’s still up for discussion. But we can most likely say that the annual fee will not go up in August.
