Chase Spending Offers
Chase has new offers for the third quarter where cardmembers can earn extra Ultimate Rewards, cash back or miles on select categories. New targeted offers were sent out for co-branded credit cards, and even Sapphire and Freedom cards. But you can also check if you are eligible for any of these offers. Let’s take a look at the offers we have seen so far.
The Offers
The following offers should be available on Hyatt, Southwest, IHG, United Disney, and Freedom credit cards:
- Earn 5X total Bonus Points/Miles for every $1 you spend on up to $1,500 in combined purchases at gas stations, grocery stores and home improvement stores from July 1 through September 30, 2022.
You can also find these offers on Sapphire or Freedom cards:
- Earn 5% or 10 back on Online and In-App Ticket Purchases for Major Professional Sporting Events, Concerts, Theme Parks, Aquariums, and Zoos, through August 31, 2022. Max $10.
- Earn 5X or 10X on Starbucks purchases, up to $200.

You can check with your Chase information here, to see if you are eligible. You can use the offers on as many cards that you are targeted for. The limits mentioned above are per card.

I got it for 7x on IHG card and 5x on Marriott card. Interesting that I value IHG at .05 cent and Marriott at .07 cent so both work out to 3.5%. Still will use my Amex Gold for groceries (4x Membership Rewards points) but will use one of these for Home Depot/Lowes and likely for gas (although most of my gas is bought at BJs which doesn’t trigger any bonuses since not a “gas station”)
Worked only for Hyatt.
Didn’t work on IHG, Freedom, Reserve and Marriott cards.
