These are prices for one way flights.  Return flights can be booked with miles or through WOW air.  All flights connect through Iceland.  WOW air allows free stopovers so you could make this two trips for the price of one if you choose.  They also charge for luggage and seat selection.  That will usually add around $40-50 per flight.  But if you pack light and allow them to pick your seat you can get to Europe for under $160.

Conclusion

These are pretty solid deals and all from the East Coast which means the flight times would not be too terrible, except for Milan.  Everyone I have talked to has enjoyed their WOW air experience.

  1. No love for Detroit. I guess it is further. I wish Wow would push the schedule out further. They obviously run these specials to attract customers and charge more for the returns so I’d like to see dates out in say April or May. A stopover in Iceland in January seems a bit harsh. The flight time from KEF to Milan is about 4 1/2 hours’ish so not terrible on that end.

    • They have had some decent sales for DTW in the past few weeks but they did get a little bit of the shaft this time around. I do think giving a little more heads up would be nice.
