Circa Las Vegas Construction Tour
The other day Mark wrote a lot about Circa Las Vegas including how expensive the room rates are for the opening months. $200+ per night is not something you see often Downtown, but Circa is looking to bring something completely different to the landscape.
One thing that is different compared to other Downtown Vegas casinos is the scale and size of Circa. With a 44 story hotel tower containing 777 rooms, a 1,200 space parking garage and an outdoor deck featuring 6 pools, it is massive. It really does tower over the rest of Downtown Las Vegas.
Check out Mark’s post for even more about Circa, because it’s an exciting project and it’s opening later this year!
Circa Resort & Casino Construction Tour
With the announced opening dates of October 28, 2020 for the casino and December 28, 2020 for the hotel, Circa is getting close to being finished. I decided to head out to Fremont Street to check out the entire property from public areas in order to see how its developing and how it blends in with the older structures all around it. Enjoy!

Circa Las Vegas Construction Tour – Bottom Line
Circa represents a massive investment in Downtown Las Vegas and from the outside it looks pretty epic. We’ll see if a chic adults only casino can do well on Fremont Street. I suspect it will do fine, but $150+ midweek rates aren’t going to hold up.
What do you think of Circa Las Vegas and how it dwarfs the rest of Downtown Las Vegas? Let me know below!

Thanks for the video as it puts things in perspective better than the PR renderings. I’ve been pretty dubious about not only the prices but the scale of the place and how it just doesn’t fit with the area. What I’ve adored about Fremont Street is that it’s been a little seedy without being dangerous and hasn’t gone the way of the strip with mega resorts. Now that’s changed and I’m not at all sure that I’m happy with the way things have moved.
