Circa Las Vegas Construction Tour
Did you know that Las Vegas is going to get a brand new “mega” hotel and casino this year? Well, perhaps it isn’t quite the size of the megaresorts on the Strip, but Derek Stevens is bringing the brand new 777 room Circa Resort & Casino to the Fremont Street Experience. It will be the first major new casino Downtown in 40 years!
When the renderings and concept art first came out I thought Circa wouldn’t fit in well with its surroundings. At 480 feet the tower is significantly bigger than anything else around it and the massive structure towers over everything else Downtown. For some reason though as this project has progressed I have really grown to appreciate the aesthetics of Circa.
Many of the Fences & Walls Are Coming Down
A couple of months ago I did a quick video tour showing off the construction of Circa (and I did another one showing all of Vegas’ construction projects), but I headed back out there again, because a lot of the walls and fences are down! We got a much better look at what Circa will look like when the 1.25 million square foot property opens in October. As a reminder, the casino opens on October 28 and the hotel opens on December 28.
This Circa Las Vegas construction tour was shot just a couple of days ago. In this video you’ll see much more of the property including an update on the unique pool area with its 14 million pixel screen plus the installation of Circa signage, the new bar being built out on Fremont Street, art work in the Garage Mahal and we’ll compare how things have changed since June. You don’t want to miss it!
Circa Las Vegas Construction Tour – Bottom Line
Circa Resort & Casino is looking to be a game changer for Downtown. While I’ll reserve final judgement for when I get to step foot inside Circa in October, based on everything I have seen this is going to be a winner for Fremont Street and a winner for Downtown Las Vegas.
What is your favorite part of the new Circa Resort & Casino? Let me know in the comments!
