New Citi AAdvantage Executive 75K Offer with $7,500 Spend Requirement
The Citi AAdvantage Executive card has a new offer that can get you 75,000 AA miles. The card has lots of benefits on top of the bonus but does come with a big annual fee. Let’s take a look.
The Offer
Citi has an increased limited time offer on the AAdvantage Executive card for 75,000 miles after spending $7,500 in the first three months. The $450 annual fee is not waived the first year. Among the card’s benefits are:
- Admiral’s Club membership including access for authorized users at no additional charge.
- $100 TSA Precheck or Global Entry credit every 5 years
- 10,000 Elite Qualifying Miles for spending $40,000
- No foreign transaction fee
- First checked bag free
You can find the offer here (direct link). Use 999999 as the referral code and LGA for airport code or any airport with an Admirals Club.
Eligibility
American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles are not available if you have had any Citi® / AAdvantage® card (other than a CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® card) opened or closed in the past 24 months.
This will probably disqualify many readers from being able to get this bonus.
Conclusion
We have seen bonuses as high as 100,000 miles on this card, but those days are long gone. 75,000 is probably the best offer you will see but it does require you to spend $7,500 within 3 months. The highest offer we’ve seen recently, was 60,000. If you are not bounded by the 24 month restriction, make sure you can handle that kind of spending.
The card also has a $450 annual fee which is one of the highest out there but people are interested in this card for its benefits, especially the Admiral’s Club membership. If that’s not for you, you can always go for 60,000 miles and no annual fee for the first year.
